Rt Rev. Dr. Arokia Raj Satis Kumar, our beloved Auxiliary Bishop and Vice President of the Archdiocesan Board of Education, (ABE)
Today is truly a special and blessed day! As we celebrate your birthday, we also celebrate Teachers’ Day, the feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta, and the grace-filled days of Novena to Our Blessed Mother. Amidst all these beautiful celebrations, God has given us yet another reason to rejoice — the gift of your life and your loving presence among us.
On behalf of Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, President of the Archdiocesan Board of Education, Rev. Fr. Divya Paul, Joint Secretary, all the staff of ABE schools, the staff of the ABE Head Office, and all our dear students and parents, we extend our heartfelt wishes on your birthday and Teachers’ Day.
You are a man of prayer, simplicity and humility; a shepherd who is always approachable, compassionate and close to people. Your life and ministry remind us of a shepherd after the heart of Jesus — one who listens, accompanies, encourages and inspires.
On this Teachers’ Day, we especially thank God for the teacher you are — not only through your words, but through your life, your example and your pastoral presence. Like St. Teresa of Calcutta, may your simplicity, love and service continue to touch countless lives.
As you begin another beautiful year of life, may the Lord bless you with abundant joy, good health, peace, strength and happiness. May every day bring you renewed grace and courage to continue your mission of serving God and His people.
And as we journey through the Novena to Our Blessed Mother, may Mary, our loving Mother, accompany you all through your life, protect you under her mantle, guide your steps and bring you ever closer to her Son, Jesus.
Today we celebrate the teacher in you.
Today we celebrate the shepherd, God has given us.
May your life continue to be a blessing to the Church, to ABE, to our schools, to our teachers and staff, and especially to the young people entrusted to our care.
Happy Birthday, Your Excellency
May God bless you abundantly, may Mother Mary walk with you always, and may your life continue to shine as a beautiful testimony of faith, simplicity and loving service.
With prayers, gratitude and heartfelt wishes from the entire ABE family.
